"War of the Worlds" is a science fiction work made by Herbert Wells. It was a pioneer in new sub-genre of science fiction: it was one of the first works that implemented the plot of alien invasion. Evil aliens have conquered the Earth, and remainder people are trying to stay alive. Its plot is very exciting, and the book overall is very good. It's worth reading.
